Once you’re ready for students to access a team, follow the steps on Microsoft’s support guides to activate your class team.
- Students, co-instructors, and TAs will need to sign up for a UVic Microsoft 365 account at onlineservices.uvic.ca before they will be populated into your class team. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours for Teams features to populate after you have signed up for your UVic Microsoft 365 account. Members are updated automatically. If you need to add additional instructional members, contact helpdesk@uvic.ca.
- After students haved signed up for a UVic Microsoft 365 account, contact your students and provide them with the link to your teams. Alternatively, direct them to sign into portal.office.com with their NetLink ID and passphrase and click Teams.
