Testimonials

Here are some comments from past attendees speaking to their experience of this event:

“I appreciated the reminder that pedagogical structure, supported by repetition, is a key tool for helping students understand and retain what they are learning. I will try to present better outlines of my course content that reiterate the course’s structure during the semester.”

“(The conference) had a very strong research base and practical application to teaching. I’ve implemented something into my teaching from all the sessions I attended. Having attended many of these professional development workshops, this was one of the best.”

“I learned some student engagement activities (especially helpful for large class – i.e., 70 students) which I plan to use this semester.”

“I actually facilitated one of the workshops and was impressed by how it resonated with people… with some of the participants asking for resources.”
