Instructional video comes in many forms, here are some of them:

  • A recorded lecture
  • A short video introducing yourself at the beginning of the course
  • A demonstration of a tool or technique
  • An interview
  • A screencast, which is a digital recording of your computer screen output
  • A YouTube video, a virtual field trip or lab simulation video, or any video created by someone else

How do I make an instructional video?

There are a few simple ways to record and share instructional video for students:

  • Record your lecture in Zoom then upload to Echo360
  • Record your lecture with Universal Capture directly to Echo360

Please refer to our guides on creating video in Echo360 and publishing Echo360 media to Brightspace for more information.
