This community aims to support faculty and instructors in enhancing accessible pedagogy and expanding accessibility and inclusive learning approaches in courses. It provides a space for dialogue and professional development centered on inclusive teaching practices, fostering an access-centered campus culture.
Instructors of First Year Courses Working Group and Community of Practice
This community welcomes instructors who teach first year students at UVic to collaborate,develop, and share instructional strategies and pedagogies to support student success in their transition to university. It also aims to tackle issues specific to both large and small first year courses and contribute to larger institutional policy and planning around student success in first year.
