A Question Library helps you create repositories of stored questions that can be used and re-used throughout course creation. Filling out the question library is often an excellent first step in creating course content as it offers a place to create, edit and import content from one central repository within the course.

This page covers specific information about the Question Library. To learn more about setting up a quiz, please visit Creating and Managing Quizzes.

Why use the Question Library?

Re-use questions across courses

  • Question Libraries provide a single location for all of your questions, which can be used for a number of activities within your courses.

Support multiple activities

  • Questions stored in the question library can be added to quizzes, surveys, and self assessments.

Only edit once

  • Questions are editable within the library and easily added to a number of activities in Brightspace.

Import with ease

  • Questions are easily imported from the question library when an activity is created.
