Brightspace will send email to your preferred email address. Unless you have specified otherwise, your UVic email address will likely be your preferred email address. Preferred email addresses can be changed through UVic My Page.
UVic recommends that you use your uvic.ca email address for university activity. Your preferred email address will be visible to other students using Brightspace as part of purpose of learning, teaching, student collaboration, and participation in registered courses.
You can specify on your MyPage whether Brightspace uses your personal email address or your uvic.ca email address.
