If the content you would like to duplicate is an Assignment, go to Course Tools > Assignments and select Copy Assignment from the drop-down menu beside the assignment you want to copy.
If the content you would like to duplicate is a Document, then you will just need to use the drop-down menu beside the document name and select Download. After that, you can use the Upload / Create button to upload the document once again as you did when uploading it the first time.
If the content you would like to duplicate is a File (page), you will need to add it to your HTML templates first.
- Locate the file you would like to duplicate (Course Tools > Course Admin > Manage Files). If you see too many files there and cannot locate the one you are looking for, select Content from the nav bar and navigate to the File (page) you wish to copy. Click Edit HTML from the drop down menu next to its title. Scroll down and look for the file path at the bottom of the page.

- Once you have found your file in Manage Files, click the drop down menu for that item and select Copy.

- Add the file to the Brightspace template folder (Daylight_HTML_Template > module_templates) by navigating to that folder and clicking Paste.

- You can now use your duplicated file as a template and populate it with your desired content when accessing Content (Upload / Create > Create a File > Select a Document Template > Browse for a Template).

You can also copy modules or individual files (i.e. components) of other courses and bring them into your course by using Import/Export/Copy Components (from the Settings cog next to your name) and then choosing Copy Components from Parent Template.
