Types of Rubrics
Analytic
Analytic rubrics are two-dimensional rubrics with levels of achievement and assessment criteria displayed as columns and rows, respectively. With analytic rubrics you can assess participants’ achievements based on multiple criteria. Analytic rubrics may use points, customs points, or text-only scoring methods.
Holistic
Holistic rubrics are single-criterion rubrics that can be used to assess participants’ achievement in activities based on predefined levels. Holistic rubrics may use either percentage or text-only scoring methods.
