As an instructor for a course, you have the ability to guide students in a specific pathway with the function of Release Conditions. Certain course content will not become available or seen with these Release Conditions unless specific pre-conditions are met.

Why Create a Custom Path for Learning?

Release Content Progressively

  • By creating a custom learning path, instructors will be able to release course content as the course progresses. An example of this would be opening the content when progressing through different topics and units.

Selectively Release to Users

  • By creating different release conditions, instructors will have the ability to release content to different groups or certain people. An example of this would be creating different topics or modules that are open to specific people or groups.

Use as a Checklist

  • Provide students with an overview of what needs to be completed in the specific module in order to progress further in the course.
