The following toolkit was developed to assist University of Victoria Chairs and Directors to carry out responsibilities in relation to grading, and to facilitate discussion in their respective units.
This Toolkit includes:

- Links to key documents (such as UVic grad descriptors and SAS grades portal)
- Questions that can be used for discussion within units so that there is a shared understanding of grading practices and their relation to students’ learning
- Recommended practices for multi-section courses to achieve equitable assessment and grading practices
- Best practices toolkit for instructors
- Series of professional development sessions to assist instructors with assessment practices
