Teaching Assistant Consultants (TACs) are senior graduate students with considerable teaching experience and skill, placed through this program in schools and departments across UVic. TACs develop discipline-specific seminars that cover a range of practical topics, tips, approaches and issues most pertinent to TAs at UVic. We also have one international TAC to support international TAs. TAC’s can also collaborate to provide cross-department or university wide workshops. Lastly, TACs provide one-on-one support as required.
