About the workshop
Delivery method: Asynchronous on Brightspace
As a member of the faculty, you may be asked to write a letter of recommendation for a peer who is being considered for an academic position or a letter of nomination for a peer with respect to a teaching award. Alternatively, you are asking a peer to write a letter and you want to know the components of an effective letter. We have developed an asynchronous workshop with tips and examples on the effective writing of such letters to guide you in the steps required to carry out this task successfully. Once complete, some one from the CAC will review the draft letter you submit on Brightspace.
Please note: this workshop is part of the Teaching Documentation & Recognition Series. Learn more about the requirements to be awarded a certificate of completion here.
Open to: Instructors, Faculty and Teaching Assistants (TAs)
