About the program

Do you want to see your colleagues in action? Do you ever wonder what other instructors are doing in their classrooms to engage students? Would you like constructive feedback on your teaching?

Join our cross-institutional community of practice on peer observation of teaching and learning! We are inviting twenty instructors (10 from Camosun and 10 from UVic) to participate in a coordinated peer observation experience. Each participant will observe one or two colleagues over the course of the fall and winter semesters at the other institution. Participants will engage in structured and supportive learning conversations with the aim of identifying and encouraging effective teaching behaviours.

The program begins with an orientation meeting in September (light snacks and refreshments provided) and will conclude with a debrief and celebration in April.

Schedule

  • Orientation: January 20, 2023*

*please note date change from LTSI newsletter*
