To create a private channel, Click the ellipsis (…) beside your team name and click More options > Add channel. Select Private under the privacy settings. Then invite students to the channel.
In a channel, students can collaborate on a file and engage in a discussion. Private channels will not have a collaboration space in your Class Notebook. You need to create a separate OneNote for the group from the Files tab of the channel.
