Release conditions allow you to create a custom learning path through the materials in your course. When you attach a release condition to an item, users cannot see that item until they meet the associated condition.
To add or edit release conditions and due dates for a module:
- Go to Content and click the module whose details you want to update from the Table of Contents panel.
2. Click Add dates and restrictions
3. Click Add start date, Add due date, or Add end date to edit the respective dates
4. Choose to create a new release condition by clicking Create or browse for an existing release condition by clicking Browse.
5. Select a Condition Type from the drop-down or attach an existing release condition using the View Conditions for drop-down menu.
6. Click Update
To add or edit release conditions and due dates for a topic:
- Under Content, find the module containing the topic you would like to add a release condition to, then click the drop-down menu beside the topic name.
2. Click Edit Properties In-place.
3. Click Add dates and restrictions.
4. Click Add start date, Add due date, or Add end date to edit the respective dates.
5. Create a new release condition by clicking Create or browse for an existing release condition by clicking Browse.
6. Select a Condition Type from the drop-down or attach an existing release condition using the View Conditions for drop-down
7. Click Update
