Show Crowdmark in the Brightspace gradebook

Yes, instructors can export the results from Crowdmark assessments to Brightspace gradebooks. Please follow the instructions from this guide below for more details.

  1. From your assessment Dashboard, click Results in the sidebar. See the section titled “Send and export grades”.This is the screenshot of the Course menu. Select results, located at the bottom of the menu.
  2. Click the Export grades to Brightspace button to export grades.Screenshot of the grades export options. There are options to export grades as CSV(top button), Export grades to Brightspace (middle button) or Export graded booklets to PDF (bottom button).
    If there are any issues with the export, you will see a modal window with a summary before you export grades. Crowdmark will not be able to export grades for students who:

    • Were imported from Brightspace into Crowdmark but have since been removed from Brightspace.
    • Were added manually in Crowdmark and are not part of the Brightspace roster.
    • Exist in Brightspace but were never added to Crowdmark
  3. To continue, click the Export grades button.

Please note that a Crowdmark Assessments grade category and a grade item associated with the assessment for which the grades were just imported will be created (a new grade item will be created in the Crowdmark Assessments grade category every time you export the grades for an assessment in Crowdmark). You can edit the grade category to reflect your course’s grading scheme. Note that there is no limit on the number of times grades for a Crowdmark assessment can be exported to Brightspace. Also, you can delete recently imported grades from Crowdmark and re-export them to Brightspace from Crowdmark.
